Ciabatta

This is a recipe for you.  Yes, you.  It doesn't matter whether you're a bachelor who doesn't know how to cook or a stay-at-home mom with little children.  Or big children, for that matter.  Or if you're a working woman like me.  Or if you just don't like cooking.  Or if you love cooking but don't have time.  Or... well, you get the picture.  About the only person who wouldn't benefit from this recipe are celiacs.  But they're usually in their own category anyway (ahem, Abigail.  But I still love you.)

In a ratio of effort to taste, this is by far the best recipe I've found in a loooong time.  Ciabatta is an Italian bread that is full of "holes".  This particular recipe gets mixed up in the morning, then left alone for 8-12 hours until you dump it on a cookie sheet (or pizza stone) and bake it.  It's called One Minute Bread, but I'd say to plan on giving it 4 minutes if you're doing it for the first time.  I've experimented in topping with with a variety of spices, or with shredded cheese (asiago is amazing, hint, hint), but you can do whatever-- or nothing!  Lately we've been mixing up an olive-oil herb dip that I got from Julie F. and dipping the cooked bread into that.  A-ma-zing! but it's also amazing served warm with butter.

And without further ado, I present:  One Minute Bread.
