I love gift cards but I'm terrible at using them. I'm slightly paralyzed by the multitude of options. It could be something practical. It could be something fun. It could be frivolous. Or desperately necessary. I love that window of possibility. Which probably explains why it takes me so long to use them. But then again, it's not like they do much good just sitting in my wallet.
It was a nice surprise to find that the one in my wallet was worth more than I thought it was, but then the dilemma was: spend it on small things or find a "larger" item to spend it on? We browsed through the whole store, dreaming about our Someday house, and wound up testing out something I've been casually shopping for for about a year and a half. (Since we got a balcony) So yeah. Thanks to the person who gave us the gift card. For our wedding. Three years ago. It's making me really happy.
If only it would warm up enough for us to use them:
Now, to find an accent table that matches. Preferably within the next three years.
